Printing Seat No.s & Waiter's Name

To update your ViViPOS you will require the following:

ViViPOS Terminal

• Software version 1.3.2.4 or above
  
• VIVIPOS WebApp & WebServices version 1.3.5.0 or above

Access to Email 

• We will email the update file to you for transfer to your ViViPOS via USB
  

USB memory stick

• To save your System Backup and to transfer
  the Add-on file

Step 1.

Before you make any changes to you ViViPOS terminal please make a complete System Backup to USB. If for some reason the system does not operate correctly  after making update changes you will then be able to restore it using your backup.

Modify the following settings for each Check you would like to print with Seat No.s & Waiter's Name

• Hide Clerk Line = false (Fig 1.1)
• Print Seat no = true (Fig 1.2)

Step 4.

Depending on your business setup you may want to either add a single 'Set Seat Number' key or individual keys for each seat number.

Fig. 1.3  shows the 'Linked to function', 'Function Label'  and Parameter' to set up a Seat Key for position 1. (the others will be the same but varying the Parameter and Funtion Label for each position)

• To allocate the seat number to a menu item simply select the Seat Key then the item.
  
• To modify an allocated seat number (note can't be changed once order stored) select the item in the cart, select the new seat number and select Modify.
  
• To allocate a seat number using the 'Set Seat Number' function key, input the seat number using the numeric keys, select 'Set Seat Number' key and the item.

Step 5.

To assist with worfklow we recommend turning on 'Seat Number' display field in the 'Cart' tab of the Layout Manager Module. Refer Fig1.4
